German A1 Exam Preparation

The German A1 (Start Deutsch 1) course teaches the foundations of the German language at a beginner level (A1 according to the CEFR). This Beginners course will help you develop your knowledge and practice your grammar, sentence structure and vocabulary.This will improve your comprehension and understanding of the basic elements of the German language and cover such topics as reading, writing and listening.

German A2 Exam Preparation

The German A2 level will broaden your linguistic skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening learned at the A1 level as well as developing a wider vocabulary to help build your confidence in communicating in German. At the Upper Beginners Course you will also be introduced to Basic Study Skills and German Cultural Studies sessions

German B1 Exam Preparations

German B1 allows you to grasp more mature and accurate communication style building on the German language skills acquired in A1 and A2. In this Intermediate course, you will consolidate your ability to function in a German speaking environment and begin to learn more complex grammar and vocabulary. The B1 course is designed to maximise your stay in Germany and ensure you have the skills to function in a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.

German B2 Exam Preparation

Our German Upper Intermediate B2 course will focus on building your confidence in communicating in German.You will learn key German grammar and language at an upper intermediate level B2, focusing on understanding and generating advanced level C1 German. This course will help students able to communicate in German independently, with correct pronunciation and vocabulary.

TestDaF Exam Preparation

The TestDaF is an advanced-level language exam. It covers levels B2 to C1 on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The TestDaf exam is the standardised German language test students use to measure their proficiency in the language and facilitate admittance to German universities. For students interested in taking TestDaf, this course will equip you with the knowledge you’ll need to pass your TestDaf exam. You will develop your theoretical understanding and practical skills of German grammar, structure and vocabulary while learning strategies to help you succeed in the TestDaf exam.

The DELF and DALF are diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education to prove the French-language skills of non-French candidates. There are six independent diplomas, which correspond, respectively, to the six levels of the Council of Europe' s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).

TCF DAP

You are a student and you wish to apply as a first year undergraduate (licence 1) to a French university or French school of architecture.

TCF DAP

You wish to assess your French language skills for personal, academic or professional reasons.

TCF for Quebec, Canada

You wish to settle long-term in Quebec and you must have your level of French assessed for your immigration application.

Note: Anyone, regardless of their nationality and native language, who wishes to begin permanent immigration procedures with the Quebec Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion. The TCF for Quebec has been designed to meet the demands of Quebecoise authorities, which make taking the tests and standardised French examinations obligatory and systematic within the context of procedures for obtaining the Certificat de Sélection du Québec (CSQ) (Quebec Selection Certificate) leading to the issuance of a permanent visa. French and francophone people are also affected by this.
The Quebecoise authorities also recognize, as an exemption, the complete TCF tout public with the speaking expression as well as DELF and DALF diplomas (subject to obtaining a minimum score in the oral comprehension and oral expression examinations and a validity of less than 2 years).
From 1 August 2013, the Quebecoise authorities require a minimum B2 level to issue a maximum of 16 points for this linguistic evaluation.

HSK

HSK is a standardized international Chinese language test to measure the ability of non-native speakers to communicate in Chinese in daily lives, academic and work settings. The HSK consist of two independent parts: written test and oral test. The written test comprises of six levels from HSK-level 1 to HSK- level 6.

Besides traditional paper-and-pencil test, Hanban gradually offers HSK internet-based to the Candidates. HSK oral test can be divided into three levels of HSK-Speaking Basic, HSK-Speaking Intermediate and HSK-speaking advance. Sound- recording devices are used during the oral test.

YCT

YCT is a standardized international Chinese language test which is directed at examing non-native primary and secondary school students’ ability to apply Chinese language in their studies and daily lives. It consists of two independent parts: written test and oral test. The written test is made up of four levels from YCT-Level 1 to YCT-Level 4. The oral test includes YCT-Speaking Basis and YCT-Speaking intermediate. Sound-recording devices are used during the oral test.

BCT

Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) (DELE) are official diplomas certifying degree of competence granted by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain to participants who have passed a standardised test indicating their European Spanish language proficiency.

Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española (SIELE) is the most comprehensive online exam for certifying your Spanish proficiency. It is a single multilevel exam that allows you to obtain the SIELE certificate. A large number of Spanish universities ask their students to have an official certificate of Spanish in order to obtain their undergraduate diploma and/or to access a master's/postgraduate program.

The required level differs according to each university, though the most requested levels are B1 and B2.
